School Excursion Program

The Culture and Diversity of Traditional Chinese Medicine

What is acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine? How does it help us?

Get students involved in hands-on, outdoor learning experiences where they discover the cultural and historical aspects of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, how it benefits our health and prevent diseases.

We start with an introduction, followed by a presentation where we showcase the holistic approach of Chinese medicine. Next, students will participate in a tour where they will visit our herbal garden, treatment facilities and have the opportunity to grow their own herbs to take home with them at the end. We finish with the most exciting part of our excursion where students get a chance to observe real-life acupuncture and cupping demonstrations.
